Most breakages don't happen in the van — they happen in a box packed in a hurry. A picture laid flat, a glass with nothing between it and the next, a treasured bit of china wrapped in a tea towel. Careful packing is the unglamorous part, and it's the single biggest difference between a good move and a bad one.
We bring proper materials and take the time to use them — tissue and bubble for the delicate, blanket-wrap and corner protection for the heavy, purpose-made cartons for pictures and mirrors, and bespoke crating for the pieces that warrant it. Everything is boxed sensibly and labelled by room, so unpacking is easy too.
